our story

A St. Thomas native, Captain Chris Berry was born into the commercial fishing industry. He grew up hauling lobster traps and net-fishing with his father, as well as spearfishing, free-diving, and surfing.  All of these activities contributed to his knowledge and understanding of the Caribbean waters and are a huge part of his success in targeting and catching both inshore and offshore species.

When he was 17, Chris began his career as a sport-fishing captain and has been doing it ever since. Always desiring to be his own boss, he procured a sport-fishing vessel and thus, Reel Livin' Charters was born.

In his spare time, Chris still enjoys scuba, free-diving, spear-fishing, surfing, and taking his family out on the water as much as possible.
